Based on the belief of the Literature, Publishing, and Translation Commission in the importance of developing talents and promoting literary creativity, the Commission has organized the “Baba Taher” competition to encourage all segments of society to engage in writing. The competition aims to shed light on children’s and youth literature through various forms of writing, including short stories, comics, and novels. The competition is named after the national symbol in Saudi children’s literature, the late Taher Zamakhshari, who was a lover of childhood and whose artistic and literary legacy continues to influence both writers and readers.
